JS Insurance switches to Supercover
In a new partnership announced today, UK broker, JS
Insurance has named Supercover Insurance as its new mobile phone cover
administrator.
The Brighton and Hove-based brokerage, which was
established in 1999 and has specialised in mobile phone insurance alongside its
travel portfolio for the past six years, switched to Supercover Insurance last
month owing to lower excesses, an improved claims process and a wider level of
cover. This will provide customers with a better overall service and increase
sales volumes through the move.
Chris Hollingsworth, Manager of JS Insurance, said: “Having
researched the market, I am confident that Supercover Insurance has the most
competitive and comprehensive product available. Our policyholders now benefit
from worldwide handset protection for 90 days overseas and mechanical breakdown
cover, both of which were not included through our previous provider.”
Supercover Insurance provides a wide range of programmes
for brokers, including mobile phone, gadget, key care and bicycle products.
Of the new partnership, Supercover Insurance’s Director of
Sales John Fannon commented: “JS Insurance’s team has
recognised the value we can add to their business, helping support their growth
plans and ensuring customer retention through effective claims management and
attractive cover options. We are keen to build our relationship with them
moving forward and will continually reflect their highly personalised service
through our own engagement with their clientele.”
